If you are using iWorks and OS X.6.2 you want to kill the Hoefler font. Rip it apart. Cast it into the fiery chasms of Mount Doom!

This discussion ultimately saved me. I am soooo relieved, when I found that I could no longer open some excerpts I had made under 10.6.1. The error message was talking about SFWordProcessing.framework, but a new installation of iWorks did not help. I was on the brink of setting up the system anew!

Good-bye Hoefler! Really, I did like you a lot.... You have been a good font.

Yes, now I am ....

.... a published Science Fiction author! =)

Feels coooool.... Two short stories (Projektion and Der Ewige Himmel (Eternal Heaven)) in here, these two volumes of 1168 pages together:

I'm looking forward to hold them in my hands.

The rest is noise. Last Friday I played at an exhibition during admission. (Because the other alternative would have been to play during an open stage, which I dislike completely.) Very noisy. Many people, more than expected. It was actually so loud, I could not hre myself playing half of the time which led twice to fuck up the tunes completely. Fingers may have their own brains, but certainly they are not musical without control on my part. If there are ever photos &c., I let you know. I liked the paper sculptures of flies &c. and the skeleton of a horse best. I hope there'll be photos.

There is also a video clip on their site in addition to several small photos. You can watch them actually walking around. =) There are several short videos in one media field, so you probably need to press the >| button.

Most musical instruments are made from wood, all the soundboards and resonators, the frames and pipes. If you ever wanted to know what music you can do with a whole grown up tree, this guy has done it:

What kind of synthesizer is this?

(Sorry, would have inserted the video, but don't want to do it barefoot tonight.)
